The UNIVERSITY OF BRESCIA present at Waste Management Europe their seminar on “Technological innovations in lithium-ion batteries waste management” held by Prof. Elza Bontempi – on Tuesday 18th April 2023 from 11:00am to 11:20am in the exhibition hall Theatre.
TITLE: Technological innovations in lithium-ion batteries waste management
It is predicted that 2 million metric tons of waste batteries will be generated worldwide by 2030. To face this problem and to avoid the risk of strategic metals’ low availability, technological innovations are mandatory. This work presents the most recent strategies for waste batteries management, in accordance with the targets of the European Commission’s proposed Regulation on Batteries and Waste Batteries.
